Quality from the Start
At MWS, quality assurance begins as early as the planning and development phase of the components. Therefore, we support our customers from the very beginning with various simulation models and conduct all required component tests and inspections during the development phase in a laboratory certified according to ISO/IEC 17025, documenting all quality-relevant data. Naturally, our facilities are certified according to ISO 9001 for validated quality management and specifically according to IATF 16949 for the automotive sector. To fulfill our zero-defect policy, you can rely on the following quality assurance measures:

– Continuous material analysis using state-of-the-art spectrometers
– Thermal analysis
– Microsections and microstructure examinations
– X-ray examinations
– Hardness testing
– Tensile testing according to DIN EN 10002
– Dimensional inspections using state-of-the-art 3D coordinate measuring machines
– Optical measurement with GOM system or SIMSCAN 3000
– Preparation of factory and acceptance test certificates 3.1 and 2.2
– Initial sample inspection according to VDA standard
– Documentation and test instructions according to DB standard
– Ultrasonic examinations
– Crack testing using fluorescent or dye penetrant methods
– Listing of ingredients in the International Material Data System
– Residual contamination analysis
