Cast Finishing
Depending on the application and subsequent function of the components, MWS offers various finishing options. This begins with cast deburring using robotic cells or punching tools and cleaning the components by blasting with stainless steel balls or corundum granulate.
Everything Possible
Individually adapted heat treatment serves to increase characteristic value levels, and hot isostatic pressing (HIPing) can improve mechanical and vibration properties.
For a perfect surface finish in terms of appearance, wear resistance, or electrical insulation, powder coating can be applied. For improved chemical resistance and enhanced protection against environmental influences and corrosion, cathodic dip coating is also applied. Depending on the application, anodizing of the components is recommended.
