Development / Prototyping
While other companies only get started during the prototyping phase, MWS gets involved much earlier. We support our customers’ developers and designers as early as the product ideation stage. For casting design, we rely on filling and solidification simulation software from Magmasoft and Flow 3D.
First-class support from the very beginning
Our casting technology support in component development ranges from the creation of 3D models, including installation space analysis, to complex simulations (FEM) with structural optimization and casting simulations. We also provide valuable assistance with material substitution. Furthermore, in cooperation with an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing laboratory, we can perform additional component tests and analyses that provide valuable insights during component development.
At the same time, our customers benefit from our own research and development projects, which we conduct in collaboration with renowned universities.
Rapid prototyping
early stage, the subsequent prototyping can be implemented within a very short time. Here, all requirements are realized, from individual pieces to small series of 100 components for production ramp-up. Mold production is generally carried out using the core block process, but implementation via rapid prototyping core printing is also possible.
